The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent today protest notes to the governments of Denmark, Germany and Luxembourg, which recognised the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo-Metohija.
The Ministry says in a statement that Minister Vuk Jeremic recalled Serbian Ambassador to Germany Ognjen Pribicevic, which is in accordance with the Ministry’s action plan, adopted at the government session.
Ambassador Pribicevic is to leave Germany within 48 hours after delivering the protest note and return to Serbia for consultations.

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic spoke today on the phone with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about the situation following the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo.
Jeremic and Lavrov agreed that this act is a severe violation of international law and that this precedent can considerably influence stability in the region as well as worldwide.
Lavrov asked about the security situation in Serbia after yesterday’s incidents during the mass protest in Belgrade and said he is sorry they happened as such events have a negative influence on the diplomatic efforts by Serbia and Russia in international organisations.
The ministers confirmed the readiness of Serbia and Russia to cooperate in all international forums so that the illegal act of unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo fails to receive international legitimacy and so that the so-called state of Kosovo is not granted membership in international organisations.
Jeremic underlined that Serbia greatly appreciates the strong and principled support by the Russian Federation in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
Lavrov confirmed he will visit Belgrade soon, according to a statement from the Ministry.

Русија им се закани со брутална воена сила на ЕУ и НАТО

Русија би можела да “употреби сила“ ако НАТО или ЕУ на Косово не дејствуваат во рамките на ООН, рекол рускиот претставник во НАТО, Дмитри Рогозин.
“Ако ЕУ усвои заеднички став или ако НАТО го прекрши мандатот на Косово, тоа нема да биде во рамките на ООН. Тогаш и ние ќе мораме да употребиме брутална сила или, со други зборови, вооружена сила за да бидеме испочитувани“, рекол Рогозин со помош на видео линк Москва - Брисел, објави руската новинска агенција Интерфакс.
Според изјавата на рускиот дипломат, во моментов Косово станало конфликт на идеологии, конфликт меѓу различни ставови кон системот на меѓународната безбедност.
“Кога во Букурешт ќе се одржи средбата Русија-НАТО, мислам дека рускиот претседател нема да се двоуми да зборува за нашите интереси, за тоа, дека безбедноста треба да биде за сите“, рекол Рогозин.
Според руските власти, земјите кои ја признаа еднострано прогласената независност на Косово, се делумно виновни за синоќешните напади врз нивните дипломатски претставништва во Белград.
“Русија жали поради случувањата во Белград“, рекол портпаролот на руското министерство за надворешни работи, Михаил Камјињин.
